Some aspects of the electromotive force: Educational review article

Certain aspects of the concept of the electromotive force (emf) of a “circuitâ€, as this concept was defined in recent publications, are discussed. In particular, the independence of the emf from the conductivity of the circuit is explained and the role of the applied force in motional emf is analyzed.
